Jennifer Rene Psaki

Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for the US Department of State (2013-15) and as the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was an CNN political contributor from 2017 until 2020. Her career in politics began in 2001 when she worked on behalf of the reelection campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democrats for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later named the press secretary's deputy in John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki also worked as communications director for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned to politics in 2012 and was the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 campaign. The 11th of February 13th, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The appointment in the Department of State fueled speculation that she would replace White House Press Secretary Jay Carney after he left the White House,[21] but, on May 30th in 2014 it was announced Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She returned to White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was a part of the Obama administration until its end.
