Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born on November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate, as an American television host at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball decided to end the show in the month of May 2021. This was to allow for the release of Breaking Points (Krystal and Saagar). Ball is a co-host with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has also appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball is adamant about her interest in politics to her experience as a newly-wed mother in the 2008 primaries. She also viewed the US presidential election from Jordan while she was working there. She was able to observe how the election affected the people of Jordan and gained a greater appreciation for the global influence of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC TV show that she hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee that works on behalf of Democratic causes.
